On the unit of the biological sciences

Abstract

The objective of this papper is to examine, by the light of some recent works in general philosophy of the science and special philosophy of the biology, the different forms that assumes the thesis of the unit of the science, in order to be able to determine in what sense we can spoke of an unit of the biological sciences.
