Abstract

This essay begins with the concept of individual that based the problematic relation between liberalism and culture. Many liberal moral thinkers has defended the necessity of the non-perfectionism state as a dealer that looks to match persons between persons with different views of goodness. A consequence of the non-perfectionism state is the request for non-intervention in the social-cultural market. The aim of this author is to show if the liberal State is actually neutral (empirical stage) or if shut were neutral under some circumstances (normative stage).
