The political in Levinas (towards a critical political philosophy)

  • Enrique Dussel Ambrossio

Abstract

The author establishes a dialogue with Emmanuel Levinas, from Totalité et Infini to his most recent works in relation to the political, starting from such salutary criticism of the political as totalized strategic domination, but at the same time showing the dificulty of constructing a political concept which is positive, creative and liberating in the realm of outward appearance.
