Performance: An analysis and interpretation from some of Aristotle's Poetics' categories
Abstract
The paper intends to show how the Aristotelian categories of non-representative action, mimesis, fate, show, and non-historic action, presented in the Poetics, provide a rich analysis of the nature and limits of the alternative art of performance, pointing out the similarities and differences with some classical arts.Downloads
