Abstract

The concept of God is a key word in the history of philosophy. It encloses, in history, man's innate desire to give meaning to his existence or to achieve an identity that is not only physical or biological. Science, rationality and faith get together to try to find a solution to the problem of man. The realm of faith, the object of theology, has much in common with the whys of philosophy. The questions concerning God are also questions about man.
