Psychology and war ethics

Abstract

There are two conceptions approaching the contemporary view of war: psychological (represented by Sigmund Freud) and ethical (represented by Bertrand Russell). Both are worried about the "human element" in war, that is. their most intimate conscious and unconscious motivations.
